From UBL for Families, Building an Excellent Generation Together

The UBL Loyalty Scholarship is an appreciation program from Bandar Lampung University (UBL), which provides discounts and exemptions from tuition fees (particularly development fees) for families of UBL students and alumni, as well as for the children of lecturers and employees, with certain requirements and valid for up to a maximum of eight semesters. This program is also available to the community around the campus as a form of appreciation for the surrounding environment.

Loyalty Scholarship Information

  1. Loyalty Scholarship is a scholarship awarded as a form of appreciation for loyalty to Universitas Bandar Lampung (UBL), which is divided into the following categories:

    • Families of students and alumni;

    • Children of employees and lecturers within the UBL environment; and

    • Children of communities residing around the Universitas Bandar Lampung campus.

  2. The Loyalty Scholarship for Families of Students and Alumni applies to family members listed on the same Family Card (Kartu Keluarga), including younger siblings, older siblings, as well as the children of UBL alumni.

  3. The Loyalty Scholarship for Families of Students and Alumni is valid for a maximum of 8 (eight) semesters without the need for reapplication each semester.

  4. Recipients of the Loyalty Scholarship for Families of Students and Alumni receive an exemption from the Development Fee amounting to IDR 20,000,000 and a 10% tuition fee (SPP) discount per semester (applicable cumulatively).

  5. Recipients of the Loyalty Scholarship for Children of UBL Employees and Lecturers receive an exemption from the Development Fee of IDR 20,000,000 and a tuition fee (SPP) discount. They are also required to submit academic and non-academic progress reports each semester through the Student Affairs and Alumni Relations Office for verification and scholarship renewal.

  6. The Loyalty Scholarship for Local Community Residents is granted to children of families residing around the Universitas Bandar Lampung campus as a form of appreciation by UBL to the surrounding community. Recipients receive an exemption from the Development Fee of IDR 20,000,000 and a tuition fee (SPP) discount, and are required to submit academic progress reports in the form of Grade Point Average (GPA) each semester through the Student Affairs and Alumni Relations Office for verification and scholarship renewal.

  7. This scholarship is application-based, meaning new students may submit an application only after being officially accepted to Universitas Bandar Lampung through the Madani admission pathway and completing re-registration.

  8. The announcement of scholarship category determination is based on the verification results of Family Card (Kartu Keluarga) documents submitted by prospective Loyalty Scholarship recipients.

  9. Refund Policy for Overpaid Tuition Fees (SPP): Overpayment refers to the difference in tuition fees already paid during re-registration through the Madani pathway due to the student receiving a scholarship under a certain category. The difference will be refunded after the student has officially received scholarship approval. Refunds will be made via bank transfer to the parent’s or guardian’s account listed on the same Family Card (Kartu Keluarga).

  10. Loyalty Scholarship Requirements:

  1. Scanned copy of the prospective student’s Electronic ID Card (E-KTP)

  2. Scanned copy of the parent’s Electronic ID Card (E-KTP)

  3. Scanned copy of the Family Card (Kartu Keluarga)

  4. Scanned copy of the Diploma

  5. Scanned copy of the Certificate of Graduation (SKL)

  6. Personal Biodata

  7. Scanned copy of the Student ID Card

  8. Full-body photograph (4R size)

  9. Passport photo (3×4 cm)

  10. Letter of Recommendation from the School Principal

  11. UBL Alumni Diploma or Student ID Card (KTM) (applicable for families of UBL alumni)

Loyalty Scholarship Process

  1. Registration is carried out through the Madani admission pathway by completing the online form at https://spmb.ubl.my.id.

  2. Please complete the form correctly and select the installment payment method.

  3. After completing the registration, prospective students (Camaba) will receive a payment notification via WhatsApp and email based on the registration data provided.

  4. Make the payment according to the invoice in order to obtain a Student Identification Number (NPM).

  5. After the payment is completed, prospective students will receive another notification via WhatsApp and email regarding scholarship offers, along with a link to scholarship information, based on the registration data.

  6. After obtaining the NPM, you are officially registered as a student of Universitas Bandar Lampung and may proceed to register for access to the UBL Apps system.

  7. Please register your account at https://apps.ubl.my.id.

  8. To apply for a scholarship, students may log in to UBL Apps, go to the Scholarship menu, and then select the Scholarship submenu.

  9. Please select the type of scholarship, then enter and upload the required scholarship documents, as well as any achievements obtained by the student.

  10. After submitting all documents and requirements, scholarship applicants will proceed to the document screening stage.

  11. If the document screening is successful, applicants will be scheduled for a scholarship interview.

  12. Prospective scholarship recipients will be scheduled to attend the scholarship interview.

  13. Scholarship applicants will participate in the scholarship interview.

  14. Scholarship applicants will receive the announcement of results through the UBL Apps platform.

  15. If a student is accepted into the scholarship program, a refund mechanism for tuition fees already paid will be applied in accordance with the scholarship category obtained and applicable regulations. The mechanism is as follows:

  • Students who receive the K1 Scholarship Category are eligible for a refund of the Development Fee.

  • In the event of withdrawal, refunds can only be processed if the student submits a withdrawal request during the same registration period (intake/batch) in which the registration was completed. If the registration period (intake/batch) has changed, refund requests cannot be submitted. Refundable fees include the PPK supporting fee and the Development Fee.
