KIP College Scholarships for a Brighter Future
KIP Kuliah is a government program that reflects the government’s responsibility to improve access to and opportunities for higher education, as well as to prepare citizens to be intelligent and competitive.
KIP College Scholarship Information
Recipients of KIP Kuliah Merdeka are graduates of Senior High School (SMA), Vocational High School (SMK) or other equivalent forms who graduated in the current year or a maximum of 2 (two) years prior.
Recipients of the KIP Kuliah Merdeka scholarship are graduates of Senior High School (SMA), Vocational High School (SMK), or equivalent institutions who graduated in the current year or up to two years prior.
They have passed the selection process for new student admissions at Bandar Lampung University.
Have academic potential but have economic limitations or come from poor/vulnerable families and/or with special considerations, supported by valid documentary evidence.
The economic requirements for recipients of the KIP Kuliah Merdeka are students who come from poor/vulnerable families with the following details:
Holders or owners of the Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) for Secondary Education.
Come from families included in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) or receive social assistance programs established by ministries handling government affairs in the social sector, such as:
Students from families participating in the Family Hope Program (PKH).
Students from families who are holders of the Family Welfare Card (KKS).
Belonging to the poor/vulnerable poor group at a maximum of Decile 3 (three) of the Extreme Poverty Eradication Acceleration Data (PPKE) established by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture.
Students from social welfare institutions/orphanages.
Students from families holding a Family Welfare Card (KKS).
Belonging to the poor/vulnerable poor group at a maximum of Decile 3 (three) of the Extreme Poverty Eradication Acceleration (PPKE) Data determined by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture.
Students from social institutions/orphanages.
If the prospective recipient does not meet one of the 4 criteria above, they can still register to receive the KIP Kuliah Merdeka as long as they meet the poor/vulnerable criteria as evidenced by:
Proof of combined gross income of parents/guardians of no more than IDR 4,000,000 per month or combined gross income of parents/guardians divided by the number of family members of no more than IDR 750,000;
Proof of family poverty in the form of a Certificate of Poverty (SKTM) issued and legalized by the government, at least at the village/sub-district level, to declare the condition of a family as poor or unable to afford education.
Registration for the Ministry of Education and Culture’s KIP Kuliah Merdeka program is through the website https://kip-kuliah.kemdikbud.go.id/. Select Mandiri PTS, select UBL, select 2 desired study programs.
Recipients of KIP Kuliah Merdeka are determined by Puslapdik based on the recommendation of the University of Bandar Lampung after students have officially registered as active students at the University of Bandar Lampung.
